Origin Biomed Inc.

In late 2001 Bob Cervelli asked me to help him with his idea for a new startup. "Regal Biomedicinals" became "Origin Biomed", a company formed to commercialize the health benefits of plant extracts. I was part-time Creative Director at Origin until 2014.

The main product was Neuragen, the active ingredient of which was a special geranium extract from Réunion Island that was effective in treating neuropathic pain. Origin also marketed a green tea extract in pill form called "Polyphenon" in partnership with Mitsui Norin of Japan. Bob and I flew to Tokyo in 2007 to consult with Mitsui Norin on their worldwide branding for Polyphenon.
